It’s time to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit.

This Saturday on October 31, Western Australians are encouraged to support WA Small Business Day by ‘shopping local’ with small businesses across the state.

In the lead up to Christmas, the ‘Think Small First’ event aims to raise awareness about the importance of supporting small businesses across WA.

The WA Government has encouraged West Aussies everywhere to participate by using the hashtag #mysmallpledge.

Small businesses are the heart of what makes our local community great, according to WA Premier Mark McGowan.

The Premier said this was more important than ever before, especially as countless businesses recover from the harsh impacts of COVID-19.

“Small businesses and local workers have made an incredibly important contribution to WA’s COVID-19 response, and this festive season provides a wonderful opportunity for Western Australians to say thank you,” he said.
